4th Sunday of Advent
The Gospel according to Luke 1:39-45
“The Lord will give you the bread you need and the water for which you thirst. No longer will your Teacher hid himself, but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher. While from behind, a voice shall sound in your ears: “This is the way; walk in it,” when you would turn to the right or to the left.” Isaiah 30:20-21
…let all hearts be open…Emmanuel comes to all…
O Come All Ye Faithful, Joyful and Triumphant
Is there someone around you that is hungry and needing companionship?
Giving of yourself will suffice
Then on Holy Night, Rejoice! You have readied yourself to contemplate
the birth of Jesus Christ
3rd Sunday of Advent
The Gospel according to Luke 3:10-18
Rose Sunday denotes the color of Joy, inviting all to radiate the joy of Christ with others; to make them feel friendship with God.
The witness of Baptism pours graces sufficient to become heirs to the kingdom of God.
Lighting a candle each day during Advent is a wonderful invocation for Hope
As you sit in front of the glowing flicker
What are you waiting for?
Who are you waiting for?
Making Joy Last Longer
…there is a chorus of Joy to be sung today…and every day…
Proposing a Challenge
Every Winter season spreads a shadowing mist
Can you notice it?
Far on the horizon God appears…again
The memory of a babe in a manger on a cold midnight
the mist calling for stillness, detachment and silent desires
This is Advent mist
Are you preparing for the peace you so need in your soul?
Relax! The blessing of needing a Savior is coming your way…
…from my heart to yours…with His Love…
2nd Sunday of Advent

Isaiah speaks of John the Baptist crying out in the desert: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths…all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”
…those who uphold the Word of God are not forgotten…
