PLAYGROUND

Playground of Life

HAIBUN

I live a stone’s throw to a charming park alive with children enjoying the playground; others fine tuning their skateboard skills in the pit; some rest for lunch on picnic tables; while cheering sports teams compete on separate fields — all this invigorates my 3-mile trek.  A narrow road separates an old cemetery from the park and as I pass the tombstones, I think of this:

HAIKU

MARKERS WEATHER TIME

WONDER WHAT THEIR LIVES WERE LIKE?

ALL GRAVES WILL RISE UP!

…Ezekiel’s Promise, Verses 37-40

…Walking around this park, I am reminded that God surrounds everything with Love…

HAPPY SATURDAY, EVERYONE!
