HAIBUN

I found this oil painting rolled up snug in a cardboard tube nestled in a dark corner of my parents’ garage.  Now framed, it hangs by a window where the early dawn’s light brightens the flowers and this Haiku came into being:

HAIKU

DARKNESS SURRENDERS

MORNING’S FRESH HOPE TO REST IN

EVERLASTING ARMS

…of Divine Love…
