SIP AWAY STRESS

IT’S HAPPY SATURDAY

Let’s be good to our bodies and minds and sip away stress by indulging in healthy smoothies…here are a few of my favorite recipes:

SPINACH COCONUT ELIXIR

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 avocado, 1/4 cup fresh spinach, 1 chopped apple

and 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract or fresh mint leaves

  Puree all ingredients in blender and sip away to improve digestion

BERRY VANILLA BOMB

1 cup almond milk

1/2 cup kale or arugula, 1/2 cup raspberries, blueberries, blackberries or grapes

and 1 tsp. honey and vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients in blender – so good for blood circulation and to erase wrinkles

CHOCOLATE BANANA SURPRISE

1 cup milk or almondmilk

1/2 avocado, 1 banana and 2 tsp. cocoa powder and 1/2 cup ice

Puree all ingredients in blender – the cocoa powder helps reduce fat storage

Of course, there are so many other combinations of fruits and vegetables that make delicious smoothies, so enjoy the exploration!
